If the buttons on your climate control stop working, and the vents get stuck in one position....

You probably have a bad mode control motor. It is located in the driver's footwell next to the area where the back of the radio is. Once you slide down in there, it takes five minutes to change it -- two or three screws, a little actuator arm, and an electrical connector is all there is. The bad part is the cost of the motor. I think I paid about $160 for a new one from Majestic Honda, but you should be able to find one for cheap from a wrecking yard.

I know this is an old thread, but this is a common problem, and one that causes a lot of head-scratching, and the solution turned out to be really simple once I figured it out. Hope this helps someone.
