Amp help!

I just got two 12 inch mtx subs. I need to now what amp size would make them thump hard but yet not cost alot. the guy before me had a 1000 watt sony explode amp hooked to them. they are in a small box. so i dont no anything about stereos so can you please help.

i have no clue what model they are. but they are in a triangle shape small box.

be sure what you do is to match RMS watts. when looking at subs and amps never look at the MAX because thats only the potential. most of the time you will never reach the MAX. :gride:

Yeah, you gotta know the model, RMS, impedance of each sub and also final impedance (i.e how are they wired? series, parallel). Only then you should buy your amp to match.

Audioque makes a great amp for cheap that would make those subs jump out of the box.

Yup! I'm loving my AQ1200D Right now. Wired at 1 ohm.

Very nice amps for an even better price.
