yep i had no drop with 18's and a front lip...didnt look good...now i have 1.8" front and 1.7" rear drop with 18's and no front lip....LOOKS SOOOO MUCH BETTER!!!

i see. so it seems to me that the cars look better when dropped, not necessarily because it's lower to the ground, but because it decreases that gap from the top of the wheel to the car.

Yeah, plus rims will make that gap look larger. It's an optical illusion but it really does.
