anyone done there own axles?i smapped one the other day and was wounderin if i should have a shop do them.they said 100$ install fee for each.69$ per axle so that would total out to about 350.does that sound right ?should i do it myself?

umm not sure about that but if you need axles, i just bought a MT that came with axles that i am not going to use. Also will have my AT axles that i am not going to use either so if you want em, let me know

after an axle job do you need to go in for alignment again?

its not that hard to do....like badger said just need the tools to do it. Used my buddies shop to do mine cuz he has a lift!!!!

Get a Haynes manual

you usually do need an alignment afterwards.

jus got mines replaced by a shop here in socal $250 installed. works miracles

if you can get the axle nut to come loose...you are home free...
