I think black wheels will look good. Even gold wheels will look funny unless it is the exact same shade as your car IMO.

What about some not quite as common colors, like red, green, blue, etc? Could look good...

ive got some hyperblack wheels, they look pretty good most of the time. Every once in a while i wish i had done something different. Like our paint job, they look different under different lighting.
The lip and center is polished but you can hardily tell uless you get close up.

These guys have all got black rims on thir gold coupes, in my opinion it doesn't look bad.

As far as I know, we're the only two gold coupes ever really on here...

I think a gold car with black/chrome wheels would look sharp, I'd probably go with 18s if I was you, though, or a sharp lip.
