...and it keeps doing it every time I install a new fuse

I first noticed that my cruise control was not engaging yesterday. I got home that evening and could not see my brake lighting up through my rear view. I checked under the hood and noticed the brake light fuse was blown. I replaced it with a 20A fuse.

Next day brake light still did not work so I checked and the fuse was blown again.

My viper alarm was installed through my brake light. The shop said this was the only way to get all the components wired (tilt sensor and various relays). I'm taking it back to the shop that installed the alarm to see if they can find a reason

Any other suggestions?

Thank you!

ditto, but just to find out...

unplug the brake switch, put in a fuse, does the fuse still blow?

plug in the switch, now blow?

press the brake, now blow?
