Brakes are grinding. what should i do?

I paid <$250 (with labor) for front slotted rotors and front + rear ceramic mix pads.

internet + asking around for reliable shops with reasonable prices ftw.

hope the $300 wasn't for oem stuff, but doesn't really matter anymore if its already done I guess

i'm not sure. mom just said it cost about 300. i had to take my mom's minivan for school and work yesterday. i should go to automotive school to learn these stuff. hmm!

$300 sounds like what a dealership would charge for a front brake job. I'd be a bit worried about the uneven wear on the pads, so take the advice given in this thread and get it checked out.

$300 is bank, don't get me wrong, but a dealer will charge that for sure. A brake place will be atleast $150. My house, $50 :p :D
