This is most likely a long shot, but I'm wondering if someone here might possibly be able to translate some Japanese portions of a website relating to my car for me..... for starters I'm wondering why it mentions "Type R" in this segment as I've always been led to believe the Euro R has nothing to do with Type R's: http://www.honda.co.jp/TORNEOEURO-R/2002/vd/image/l_txt_1.gif

and this is the whole brochure which I found that bit in: http://www.honda.co.jp/TORNEOEURO-R/2002/index.html

If someone can translate some bits for me, could you please let me know and I will get the little bits I'm hoping to get translated.

Thanks in advance

Steve

it says "Chicken scratch Chicken scratch Chicken scratch Chicken scratch Chicken scratch Chicken scratch Chicken scratch Chicken scratch Chicken scratch Chicken scratch Chicken scratch Chicken scratch Chicken scratch Chicken scratch Chicken scratch Chicken scratch Chicken scratch Chicken scratch Chicken scratch Chicken scratch Chicken scratch Chicken scratch Chicken scratch Chicken scratch Chicken scratch Chicken scratch Chicken scratch Chicken scratch Chicken scratch"

:lawl:

ok ok, it mentions that the Accords in Europe were released with a Dual Overhead Cam with the H22A Engine. Coincidentally, it's the Accord Type-R

You sir are a savior!

Here's a couple that I'm interested in knowing about.... at a guess the boxes wont translate due to them being a gif file format??

http://www.honda.co.jp/TORNEOEURO-R/2002/cont/c_a1.html
more so whats in the box.

I'm "guessing" this is explaining why the Euro R was produced??
I've been told that it was due to Europe producing the Accord Type R.

more so whats in the box.

I've been told that the Euro R doesn't have extra bracing in the chassis / suspension area but that diagram certainly looks like it is saying there is.

They are just talking about the adding rigidity to the chassis with the blue being the base model and the red for the euro-r. This is to the front damper section and the rear bulk head.

The euro-r is based off the company philosophy of the type-r but more in a civilized manner for the suspension being a sedan.

Hope that helps.
Oh post pics of the euro-r plz :)
