CEL P1486 on 2000 accord SE

My friend car (2000 Accord SE) got CEL P1486 = Cooling System Malfunction

According to Honda Bulletin they said I have to replace ECM ><!

some people said just replace T-Stat and it will fix the problem

T-Stat is fine, The car does not overheat at all, both fan are running, coolant level is fine also


What else should I check for?

I had that code last week on my car, I replace the thermostat, put fresh coolant in it and its running excellent now.

I will try that first then. since t-stat only a few buck
