Check engine light Code P1457

Can someone please help me out what the code P1457 mean?

Loose gas cap
Vaper canister saturated
Failed vent solenoid
Failed purge solenoid

I replaced the gas cap from the dealer and disconnected the battery and the check engine light went off for a few days then came back on again

P1457 is the Evap Canister leak. P1456 is the gas cap. Changing the gas cap will not solve your problem.

Take a look at the evap canister vacuum lines for cracks/leaks.

I had this code for a while. Would always pop up in the morning before heading to work. Mine turned out to be the evap solenoid. Replaced it and hasn't come on since.

right beside the canister and vent shut off valve.

No, under the car in front of the rear driver side wheel. Take another look at the thread I posted.
