Does anyone know if its possible to use the same approach to open the headlights on the 01 sedans so that the amber strip at the bottom can be removed and the lights can resealed again?

WOW. i tried this today and f*cked up my right tail light. i did it just as your pics described including the aluminum and it ended up melting part of the tail light when i took them out of the oven to where u can see ridges. and i also cracked part of the tail light trying to pry it open. FML. anyone want to sell me an oem right tail light? ha.
