so my 2 year old clutch pedal squeeks when depressed. it used to be only when it was cold, but now its every freaking time.

any ideas on ways to limit the squeek like oil or lube?

Its squeeking from the rubber boots covering the piston going in and out of your clutch pedal shaft. You can spray some wd 40 or use some lithium grease to lube the shaft but it comes back later on again. I just deal with it or get new boot.

Mine did the same in April I figured it was nothing and continue to drive as if nothing happened, and few days later come to find out I had to change my clutch master cylinder, cause it went on me lucky I was a few block from a friends house and replaced there.

grease > wd40

always use grease if its an option
