coupe bumper on sedan ?

ok so i check the DIY on the the coupe nose on a sedan ,and i see the back and forth about what bumper and hood combo is needed ,heres my question i have a 98 with a 02 hood which does not line up with the bumpe
here is a pic

is that what they speak of by gap if so would i be able to just replace the bumper with 02 coupe and be ok or do i still need to replace both?

hood and bumper need to replace to fit properly, fenders do not need to be changed

you still need both to line up correctly. coupe hood and 02 sedan hood are not the same
