can a J35A4 head swap on to a j30a1
and would it be a gain or loss
or should i just buy a nother j30a1 head
need help searched and i just dont get the answers

It will fit, but I don't know the differences between a J30A1 and J35A1 heads, even though they share the same numbers. You would need 2 if you upgraded, it would not be wise to run two different heads.

If you just swap the J35A4 heads, the j30a1 intake system will choke it and you really won't see much of a gain, if anything.

If you swap the entire top end with J35A4 components, i.e. intake manifold, intake runners, throttle body, AND heads, you'll see some considerable gains.

But yes, the J35A4 heads are a direct bolt-on to your j30.
