That sounds a lot cheaper then a h22 swap, what is the reasoning for so many giving up?

h22 - 1 complete motor from factory

g23 (f23-h23) - 2 motors slapped together. need extra care for oil pressure

i realized this last nite, do you know how many G23 projects were planned for 6th gens and how many are realized?

i count atleast 8 g23 projects tht were given up or arent done, mine included. this is not including abt 20 ppl interested in g series engines tht researched.

darkside, egi7, kid, retroshark, kleankord and myself all had parts for it

egi7 and kleankord sold theirs; retro may do his later; I wont be done for 2yrs

darkside has the best chance of anyone to doit

it really is a curse, go darkside

i just got off the phone with the shop, and so far so good for the most part... he did say tht the H23 header will not fit cos of the alternator being in the way... never heard of tht prob on all the threads mentioned tho... hmmm...

So which header will they use or will they make a custom?

they're taking off the alternator first, bolt up the header, then try reinstalling the alternator... hopefully tht will work
