DIY: Engine Paint

I'm out of purple and just ordered some more. I will update when my paint comes. I'm going to do the glossy purple and paint my original one satin purple and blue stripes.

nice i cant wait to see yours done. I already did mine, didnt do clear coat just left it satin but i did mine in red but i think i should have gone with a dark blue since the color of my car is nighthawk black pearl. i would post pics but i dont know how and my computer wont let me post any in my albums.

Omg I completly forgot about this thread

Finished product. Looks awesome in person but be weary if high gloss it will leave fingerprints so you have to wipe it down a lot.

I would've used a darker purple, and a satin clear coat. But thats just me.

I sanded mine down before I even touched it
went with 220 grit then 600 grit
and went with a metallic blue
