I've been getting prices for alignment and the're to damn high. It is now cheaper to live with bad wear and only get about 35,000 miles from the Costco Michelins than to pay a $100 every 10,000 miles to have them aligned.

Wondering if anyone is doing it themselves as there are several kits on the market that swear they can match a shop. Quick Trick comes to mind but it ain't cheap?

If not, to hell with it, put the worn ones on the rear and keep driving.

Tire Discounters charges $80 where I live, some private shops are less. Look in your local paper, there are coupons for brake jobs/tires/alignments for various shops all the time. Or pay $150-200 and get a lifetime policy at somewhere like Firestone.
