Great DIY.

What made you rebuild it...was it performance, or that it had never been rebuilt yet and you thought it would benefit or should be done at this point?

There was oil on my compressor wheel, so I wanted to rebuild it now while its out of the car instead of putting in on and then removing it again.

Great write-up man, how long did this realistically take you to complete in hours from start to finish?

Thanks!

Honestly, if I didn't have to pick up the camera every 2 minutes, it probably would have taken me about 1 hour from start to finish. Also depends on how confident you are and how much you know your way around a turbo. Cleaning does take a while along with taking your time and moving slowly because you don't want to damage any of the wheels or score the shaft and ruin the O-rings or something.

But with the camera, it took about 3 hours to snap pictures and right down step by step cause there is just so many parts that has to be in the right order.
