Like the transmission ground, etc.

there are none when i did the tranny swap that ground that used to be on the tranny was gone, and i just had the cable bolted to the rad support. (the 6spd doesnt have the bracket for ground like the auto. you could just take it & bolt it to the rad support sumwhere if your concerned.)

Great post Mikey, always wanted to do this and I also need Steve to do this since the SC battery boxes are on back order so this thread came just in time.

mike, did you place a fuse right off the + battery terminal?

na thats my sterio wire...

you dont need a fuse in the power wire, since theres no fuse in the OEM, and a 0 gauge has little to no resistance, a fuse will put too much resistance in the wire, and your power output will diminish

i placed an anl fuse right off my + wire for safety. just incase the wire becomes exposed and shorts out, it blows the fuse instead of harming the electrical system.

I Know this is an old thread,so Id rather search and bump this than make a question thread;
Im about to order a Relocation kit;wires,battery case ect..

BUT im stuck on the Distribution block;
Im looking at STINGER-like thread says,but on ebay it says its for ground..so do i need one with a fuse or what? since OP said no but badger said yes..ha
heres wat i was looking at:

or do i need the ANL one? if so what amp fuses?

also wheres the best spot to ground it from the trunk? any pics ?

a distrubution block is used to connect all the positive wires in the front to the main power cable coming from the rear

a dist block does not have a ground or need a fuse

the only part tht needs to be fused IMO, is the main power wire. since it could be damaged and exposed, it could ground out your battery. its not necessary but it is an important safety precaution
