It kinda looked like he did if carlessly, though 40+ years of experience, I guess he can do it with his eyes clothes....

Im gonna have to drop $1k for a new clutch soon....

4 minute video, lot's of editing. If you didn't notice, all of the bolts were loosened when they shot him taking them off.

$1k for a clutch replacement? Shouldn't be over a couple hundred in labor, so what clutch you getting? Spec twin disk carbon?

LOL no, Just OEM replacement. I dont want to do it myself *really dont* so im gonna get the pros to do it and the average quote Im getting is around $700-1k... for shops and $1k at Honda dealer.

I don't even.......


i would be AMAZED if anyone could get the transmission to behave that well. i always have just dropped the damn thing down to the ground.

Maybe investing on a transmission jack possibly....thats what I did didn't feel like bench pressing the transmission up and down on my chest

There's no reason NOT to go ahead and drop it down at that point. Why deal with the pita of removing/installing the clutch with it in the way when it's a twist of a jack to drop it?

I would not attempt this after watching his video.
It feels like one of those things I'd get to a bolt and be like hm...
I don't have a tool to get that off....

specialized tools needed to do this: Axle nut socket, ball joint seperator, 12point 10& i think 14mm sockets...... and i think thats it

everything else is basic sockets, wrenches and other tools (jack, stands, pliers, ect)
