Hi this really isn't a DIY but I wanted to say that today I did my mdx door lock and instead of replacing the whole actuator for like $45-50, only changed the motor and it worked. I got the motor off ebay and if it worked for the mdx, I believe it should work for the honda accord b/c I replaced my accord's actuator a couple of months ago and they had identical actuators. With the mdx today I fixed like 3 actuators in the past couple of months, but today was the first time I only changed the motor.

For 10 bucks off ebay, why not try that first? You do need a motor gear puller ($15) to transfer the old black gear into the new motor.
