hondadoctor here: just got a few ideas for ya there gents. ya see the cooler ya get ya girl down the more hp you make at the wheels. ya see cold air = hp.

remove all the seals under bonnet
wrap throttle body, cai, headers,fuel lines, radiator hoses ect.. with special heat wrap tape.
remove cover under front of car
remove the bonnet sound dampener
buy a lower temp radi cap
throttle body bypass
throttle body spacer mod
ad water wetter to coolant


results: I went for a drive temp read alot lower than normal and me car felt quicker. the car felt alot more lighter at the accelerator pedal . when i drove back home i felt the iat sencor, throttle body and cai they were all cool to touch.

Okay I missed the last thread and im not gonna miss commenting this time, you dork first off whose gonna remove sound deadening in there DD Accord? That would utterly drive a person crazy driving on the highway hearing nothing but exhaust without a helmet or something covering there ears. Your an absolute idiot if you wasted your time doing that. one roll from DEI costs $17 and can barely do a full CAI. add up the $$
heat rises
dampener ftw! more is going in my doors and trunk soon.

no point on a DD

cold air = denser air = more air =/= more hp.

more air + more fuel = more hp. unless you up the fuel flow you cant guarantee that.
