DRL with HID kit?

do you know what would happen if the DRL "is" on while HID is off? i also searched it but found nothing.

If your DRL is engaged and you have an HID sytstem, the HID lights will illuminate.
Most vehicles who stock HID's and have DRL will use the high beam position for the DRL

I've only seen people put HID kits in the low beam. The DRL is a new thing I guess for newer vehicles in the US now? Canadian vehicles have had them for decades. I would leave the DRL's alone and just work with you low/high beam lighting if need be.

the DRLs are the same bulb at the low/high in a CRV... nobody gets this.. lol

i now drive a '09 CRV. which CRV and Odyssey uses H4(9003) bulbs and not 9006/9005. =]
