could you get the tien basics and then later mod the edfc onto the coilover?
if so how? whats the difference between the ss and the basic....i wonder

Have you tried looking at Tein's site to compare the differences? I'm pretty sure all your answers would be right there.

No you can't....the basics are non-adjustable in terms of dampening so Electronic Dampening Force Control (EDFC) can't control a non adjustable unit...
