lowering also puts extra stress on wheel bearings and CV joints...i have had my rear wheel bearings replaced once...but it doesn't seem to be recurring cause it hasn't happened in the last 20K miles...my CV's are still in good shape believe it or not after being dropped 3" for the past 2 years or so...

CV joints and wheel bearings have added stress.
You might scrape in some places (just take it easy on angles). Watch out for curbs near parking spots....i.e don't beach your front bar.
You might need a camber kit.
Then an alignment for sure.
And don't forget to re-adjust your headlights as they might be aimed wrong due to the drop.
