Egr Flow Insufficient

So yesterday I went to work and all was well same daily routine and then 5 hrs later im leaving for my lunch break and i start my car and one of my lights comes on, at first i was thinking oh another oil change thinking it was the maintainence light, but then i looked closer and it was he check engine light, so i went to Autozone and used the ODBII scanner and it throws the code for EGR FLOW INSUFFICIENT PO401, has anyone encounter this problem? what do i do ? sorry im a noob...

yea...you need to replace your EGR valve. Its sorta a common problem with the av6. You might be able to get it done under warranty from the dealership, if no, then it can be a DIY. No hard to change, but parts costs a lil..

yeah autozone sells the for 160 bucks honda wanted 275 the 4cyl was 40 bucks cheaper but the v6 is a common problem

use carb & choke cleaner to disolve all of the carbon, and a pick to chip out any hard deposits. You can also try cleaning out the EGR passages in the intake manifold.
