Well, another thing I thought of is the damn EGR valve and its port.

It happens mostly when it's cold. I put the car in drive and hit the gas and the rpm jumps all around and the then it shifts into second. It seems to
Shift fine it just like it doesn't accelerate thru the rpm range smoothly. It mostly does it when cold.

Do you have a check engine light?

This sounds more like a slipping transmission problem. Especially if you have a more noticeable problem when its cold. Cold fluid normally affects shift quality in older trannys.
Check the fluid level and color. Has it ever been serviced? Or serviced lately?

Hi, I found out the problem. It had a check engine light p1149 and by replacing the o2 sensor ($100 something freakin dollars for the damn part) all the problems have been fixed.

It has been 2 days and still no engine light back on. There was also another code in there for the EGR valve, but I think the faulty o2 sensor was causing the EGR valve code as well.
