f23a1 all motor build

I got plans to build off my f23a1 but need help to get there and suggestions.i want to reach anywhere from 250-270hp no turbo all natural.any suggestions welcome on how you would build it

Have fun... You're gonna be spending more than $10,000 on custom work to get it to anywhere near that amount of power with the F23A N/A.

You can read up on NASOHC old na build thread.

Easiest route is to get a better motor that is more acceptable to bolt ons and more aftermarket parts such as the f20b, H22, H23, or the G23.

if your planning to do an all motor build do not look towards the f20b..there are no aftermarket parts whatsoever for the block....and the head isnt the same as an h22

Yeah, H22 or G23 is the only easy way (not really, but doable) to accomplish those goals while being N/A.

G23 isn't all that great the life span on one of those bad boys is something like 6-9 months your best bet would be h22 or even an H23 if you have the money for one

False. No one does it properly, that's why they don't last long. Do it properly and it's great.

Not good for daily, wont last long. Most frankenstein's dont!
False. No one does it properly, that's why they don't last long. Do it properly and it's great.

Does help but when you have a high comp frankenstein its just a matter of time till you have problems..


Get a H23 bluetop or H22 euro R both rated around 220
