i posted up a link to some ebay auctions (not mine), and the thread was promptly locked:

did i break some sort of rule?

if that's not allowed, why not just delete the thread?

i wasn't trying to do anything inappropriate, just giving everyone a heads up to a good deal (i've seen others do it).

It was closed and moved to the appropriate section 1) b/c it was in the cars for sale section 2) there's a sticky for Ebay stuff.

You didn't do anything wrong, just in the wrong area.
