I could swear ff type 1s only come in one spring rate anyways.
The 2.5s are whats available for customization.

The 2's have different spring rates as well if I'm not mistaken.

With type 1s and type2s you DO NOT get to pick your rates. It is what it is.
With 2.5s you can pick your spring rates up to some limit.

I think what he meant was that for type 2's, you have the option to swap springs on your own. Whereas for type 1's, you don't have either option of choosing rates or swapping out springs.

I wish I could upgrade to 14/10..
