Im trying to permantly fix the squeaking jounce bumper/bump stop, a common problem on my dad's 07 Fusion SEL AWD. We've taken it to a auto shop and they spayed it with grease and the sound went away for 2-3 months, but it always wants to come back. I don't think anyone makes a polyurethane bump stop for the fusion. I'd like to order a stock one and make a plaster form and see if I can mold A new polyurethane bump stop for the front struts. Anyone tried doing this before? 80A shore rating seems to be the optimal harness for this application. This polyurethane specific grease says it lasts for a long time, and will elimnate squeaks.

I have also noticed the bigger wheel gap in the front as opposed to the rear. 3 fingers in rear, 4 1/2 fingers in front. Anyone ever just lowered the front of a vehicle only? I know they spring rates need to be similar to stock. I think the only AWD options for springs are H&R(F:1.6", R:1.9"), and Steeda( front& rear: 1.6"), or H&R coilovers. Coilovers would be the ideal solution, but don't want to pay $1300.

Lowered Rear stance fusions... some don't look too bad after lowering with oversize wheels
