A good paint job is a rather large investment into what is usually an well worn car at 15 years old. My car cost me $2900 2 years ago. I love the car, but could never justify $1000+ in upgrades (that's just me though).

And since this is your first car, a little wisdom I would like to share since I remember that day of getting my first car, do some basic DIY maintenance and repairs, there is a whole section dedicated to this.

Wheels are the best place to start IMO; search craigslist for some decent prices. I like the lip kits. Window tint covers a lot of area so it makes a pretty big change in the look.

Personally i would never buy new rims off of Amazon, your better off taking your money and maybe a little more on top to go through a reputable site or store. As far as the lip you always kind of take a chance with 3rd party when not going with OEM but I'd recommend this one for you:

Yeah I saw that one. I also saw your thread, really nice car! I would want to make mine look good, not ricer as in my city they're the worst of the worst. I want it to look nice have its rims, darker tint.

They sell some quality parts, but people have had issues with their customer service. Others didn't seem to mind buying from them.

this pretty much sums up andys auto sport...

http://www.6thgenaccord.com/forums/showthread.php?t=48052&highlight=andys+auto+sport

i bought something from them back in 2006 and never got it. turned out not only did they not have the part in stock, but it wasn't even made anymore. after i cancelled my order with them, they charged me a ~$30 restocking fee. they did that to a lot of people, so many in fact, that someone ended up taking them to court and winning because i got a check a couple years later for the restocking fee cost and a letter explaining that they were being fraudulent.

seems like they never learned their lesson either, since a lot of the stuff i've just now been reading about them online is from recent years and really isn't much different from what i went through and heard about then back in 2006.

i'd put money on it that those two five star reviews on yelp are fake as well.

...thanks to the great deal of censorship the previous owner of this site did, that link is blocked because some letters spell out twat. it's ctwatchdog.
