My buddy owns a detailing company and asked me to shoot his baby's baptism in exchange for a full detail on the car. Couldn't say no, he does amazing work. My paint was all faded on the roof and trunk, swirls all over the place, etc etc. I kept it clean and would detail it myself every month or so, but it never looked like this even after I would spend hours with clay bar and waxes.

hard @ work

Of course it had to rain the next night... but look at how the water beads! :D

To give you a better idea. This was about a week after, all I did was give the car a quick wash. Was waiting for some cars to show up for a shoot right before sunset...

And after the photoshoot, I moved my car over to get a nice shot with my strobes set up.

Couldn't be happier with how the car came out. I can't find a swirl, the fade on the top of the car is gone, and even though the new paint on the front end/passenger door will never perfectly match the rest of the car (you can kinda see it in that last pic), he purposely compounded and polished the old paint on quarter panel more than he did the new paint on the door so they wouldn't look so off). It looks so much better than before! He did an equally impressive job on the interior and the engine bay.
