I've tried looking on V6 Performance, and driveaccord, i also did a search on here. I wasn't able to find anything. I have a 99 ex coupe with a f23a1 engine.
I had bought some headers and down pipe with a catback exhaust off a friend that had the same car. I tried installing it today but before i even started. I noticed that the bolts on the new header manifold were much bigger than the ones I had on.

Is there any difference from the f23a1,f23a4 and f23a5? (regarding the exhaust)

Thanks guys!

Head has studs, manfold has holes.

Held on w/ nuts.

The holes are large enough you need washers?

I dont think I understand. This is a picture of my current header manifold and the new one. The holes on the new manifold are big than the current header manifold. You're saying washers can be used so the new one can fit the engine?

yup, install the manifold/header, use one washer under each nut. Use OEM style nuts, they 'lock' so they don't get loose. Not nylock, metal locks so they don't melt.
