Wassup You guy i been having trouble in my 2000 accord ex ulev ....the car drove fine till 1 day i was at the red light and she started idleing funny then the next light down the road she stalled out, wont hold any type of idle what so ever i check the code P1491 Exhaust Gas Recirculation Valve Insufficient Lift...i was told the EGR is stuck open so i bought a Brand New 1 Drove Fine For a day then the light came back on but she real sluggish but doesnt stall out

PS i did this to clean the channel out

If you replaced the EGR valve and cleaned the carbon buildup out of the port, that should have fixed it. You could try cleaning the IACV and see if that gets you anywhere.

- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Valve clogged

How many miles did it take for the light to come back after reset and replace?

I ended up using my F20B Manual upper plenum with a brand New OEM EGR Valve Pow
P1491 is Offically gone but due to that code is fried my upper A/F ratio Sensor so now i got a code P1164
