Just purchased my first Honda and stick shift about two months ago from a lawyer.

2001 Honda Accord LX Coupe.

I'm still a newbie to DIY car modification as well as driving stick in general, so bear with me. I will mainly be hanging out in DIY performance and Photoshop threads, so I hope to make your acquaintance at some time.

Until then.

Welcome to 6GA. Accords are easy to learn manual driving with, and shift like butter with new Manual Transmission Fluid.

After teaching myself to drive manual:

Hint #1 The clutch is not a brake. Stomping on it will not slow you down.

After getting used to manual and switching back to an auto:

Hint #2 The brake is not a clutch! Use one foot while driving or you'll bash your head against the windshield.

Otherwise, enjoy your SSM Coupe.
