Hood Latch/Cable Relocation

Has anyone done this on their accord? I searched but it couldn't find any threads on how to relocate the latch. I found a pretty useful link for integras but not for accords.

what is the use of this?

Even with my 2 way alarm, it'll take the thieves less than 30 secs break my window, open my door, pop my hood and cut my power cable to disable the alarm. I don't want my sound system going missing when i wake up in the morning.

Since it'll take me at least 30 secs to wake up and realize that alarm pager's going off.
