(IMPORTANT UPDATE!!!) OFFICIAL 2011 Mid-Atlantic Skyline Drive Cruise

Since we're getting into the time of year where the trees will be turning and the forest and mountains look awesome I figured it's time for a cruise

WHAT: Skyline Drive Cruise
WHEN: October 23rd, 2011
WHERE: Pretty obvious... Skyline Drive,Shenandoah National Park
ENTRANCE FEE: $15.00

DIRECTIONS: google or GPS the address

Due to an unexpected high turnout and possible lack of parking from people having friends come too we are no longer meeting at the visitor center on Skyline Drive. We will now meet at the Golds Gym just off of south Street BY 12:00 (PLEASE BE THERE THEN). we'll hang out there and wait/hope everyone makes it in time, and AT 12:45 we'll roll out from there.

If you aren't there by the time we leave, keep driving, you may catch up as we plan to stop for pictures.

We will determine how far to drive when we meet up.

We will take pictures at random overlooks along the way. so bring a camera if you want some.

We almost all drive modified vehicles so we will attract attention from park police as is, shenanigans are acceptable while hanging out, NOT while driving.

Speed limit is 35 MPH almost the whole route but no one i've ever seen on that drive actually goes 35 (it is in virginia after all), those of us with modified suspension may like taking turns a little faster, it is not a competition to see who can take them the fastest. Be a responsible driver.


It's a national park... just use common sense. Those of you who lack that, stay at home because the police WILL stop you.

Pets must be in the car or on a leash at all times and please remember to clean up after them.

fill your tank means you patrick... if you are even coming this time... and no explosives? that means that i have to take apart my entire car to disarm it..... really y not they arent high explosives! y do i feel as if i enter the part i will be searched...

umm not me. I got gas when me and tyler went to get drinks. remember it took us forever cause he took me to a gas station that he knew had cheaper gas.

I was in Shenandoah the other day for a hike, love Skyline Drive. I'll try to attend this, depends on whether or not I can get my parents to bring me my car for the day...
