Installing a sun roof?

Hey edub, how much did you guys on average charge people to get them installed?

the units we installed were about 500-700 depending on the size but the company i worked for would charge the dealership about $1300

Bad idea. Guaranteed that baby will leak because, simply put, if the car wasn't originally built with one there will be issues.

I'd say sell your car and get one with a sunroof if you want one that bad.

I dunno, I think if you have it profesionally done they warant it to not leak. I'm gonna look into it some more but a little be of silicon never hurt anyone.

what would their warranty cover?

i'm betting just fixing the leaky roof, and they wouldn't compensate for a ruined interior or anything else that gets wrecked if it leaks a lot or suddenly or you're away for a couple days :ughrun:

haha, you're probably right. I'm still not very sure if I want to do it just cause it could leak.
