Distributor has a blue wire that is the tach signal. It should go to the back of the gauge cluster and ECU.

But... why? Our cars come with tachs that work just fine...

i just went out n checked for the blue wire by the distributer n didnt find it. i also looked up on the internet and came across a forum that said you can also use a yellow w/ green wire that comes from the destributer. Maybe?

Best bet would be to buy a repair manual and look at the wiring diagrams.

It should be blue... it's not by the distributor, it's in the distributor harness.

A digi tach would be cool.... as long as it's not 5" wide like most people who put them in.
