Is it just me or

Does it seem like the moon roofs on our cars, dont open as far as they really should.

It almost feels like it should still drop back like another few inches.

well look at the size of the glass then look at the size of the remaining roof... and keep in mind the motor and other components are sandwiched inbetween the glass and the rear window...

just be grateful it's reasonably large, can tilt or open wide, doesn't slide back and on top of the roof, is glass, and is tinted dark from the factory...

one of those features I basically never used. a moonroof would never be a selling point for me, and on a used car I would avoid them honestly so you don't have to worry about leaks

i used to think that, but i LOVE moonroofs after having one.

the next car i'm looking at only comes with a sunroof, but there are glass panels available...hard to find i never use the sliding cover so i wouldnt even be mad not having one at all.
