wow sorry i just read back at my post. and did not even mentioned that...

i guess i implied everyone knew and i already said it... :p

but yeah i put in stock 6 disk radio. does it help a bit more?

I'm guessing that there is no way to change the dim. I got an aftermarket hu and there is no dimmer wire I can hook up to.

As far as I know this is correct. There is a dimmer wire in the Honda radio harness in the 6th gen, BUT for some reason when I hooked it up to my HU, it would blow the fuses to the brake lights and interior lights.

i hooked up that same wire to the power antenna and it blew my fuses

but i think i have the dim hooked up to a power source. a constant when it's turned on.

so i'm just going to pull out the dim wire and see if that'll work.
