Is V6 engine more likely to break down earlier than a V4?

It's hard to know exactly when to sell a car. Finding that exact moment before it breaks down can be difficult with Hondas.

J motors are tanks and they'll run forever as long as you keep up with basic maintenance like anything else. Same deal with the H’s really. It’s usually other parts that fail first, like the auto transmissions.

It's I4 btw. :)

If v6 break down more easily, I will just sell it as soon as I can because I don't want to wait until it breaks down and spend lot more money to fix.

Both motors are good if you keep up with them and do everything when you're supposed to.

What do you want, more gas mileage. You know the I4 gets better MPG, so get it. You know what you want, so do it :lawl:

engine longevity depends on how well maintained it is and what the driving conditions are.... for example, a well-maintained car driven in harsh stop-n-go traffic might not last as long as a poorly maintained car driven mainly on the freeway with no traffic
