Sorry to hear of accident. If your insurance won't cover the damage and you have to take it to a shop, see if you can find a shop that will dolly and hammer that out. Someone with dh experience could bang that out. It'll be way cheaper than replacing the whole 1/4.

If you seen him backing up and was not stopping, Why didn't you just stop toot your horn and let him go? Instead of driving forward and going? Around here parking lot accidents are 50/50 no matter who fault it is.
