I would not recommend buying used struts. Buy them new, and you will never have to buy them again since you will have a lifetime warranty. Koni has an annual spring sale with 15-20% off every year.

I bought used Yellows and three blew the next year. Used springs are okay.

Didn't know about that sale I'll have to check that out. I totally agree with you though. Luckily this is for more of an "interim" set up. Won't be on very long and will be sold immediately after.
