lol...thats why i could only get teh Sigma version....which still costed me like $400.....photography is no joke....

Yea, I told him I wanted a lens, and I was thinking like something in the price range of the nifty fifty, because I had been planning on buying this lens within the next month anyways. Man, I love this lens though, its amazing!

with a 38-112 field of view, do you have an ultra-wide planned? to me, thats kind of "no man's land" on a crop sensor. i use a 24-50 as a walkaround till i either buy a 19-35 or save up $700 for a 16-50 f/2.8 :skurred:

i have a 16mm and its just perfect on a crop camera, although some people have a 10-22 zoom variant. although its not rectilinear, perspective distortion is a lot lower. if i want wide...ill make a pano :lawl:

best part: it was $150 and the manual is 100% russian :lolrun:

yea thats what i kinda noticed too...its an awesome lens tho....perfect for weddings where "atmosphere" is ok to include in alot of pictures..
