Hey Matt, so did you find out how much it would cost for you to buy your car back from the junk yard?

Just got an email from Tim. Dennis, the parts manager at Acura of Peoria has agreed to still furnish the hood at no cost if we get the rest of the parts from him, but he's going to give us 5% above dealer cost on the rest of the parts.

^So does that work out better than the 25% off, as per the original offer?

Either way, I think that's great they are willing to hook Matt up like that.

Anything helps and am I totally appreciative of this!!! If at all possible if he could find the chrome trim peice I would appreciate it. I am trying to locate them.

Or the plastic peice that is where the windshield wipers go into?

Still no word about my car or when I'll be able to get it out of the salvage yard. It's frustrating. Been 2 weeks without a car.

I'd call them but it is through my bank and all this stuff. I will check into it tomorrow and see what's going on. I am trying to remain positive .

Call anyways. Don't let it be up to anyone else to get it done.

The way this country works, nothing will get done unless you hound everyone to do THEIR part. lol.
