So as the title states, my cg is in limp mode and wont go past 4750 rpm ..

Whats been done:
5 speed swap with ulev 5 speed ecu (had to have some things repinned though so makes me question if iy were really 5 speed.)
Cleaned tb, iacv, egr port.
Oil is at proper levels
Almost forgot .. My mechanic had to rig a non ulev o2 sensor in the cat. He had to re-wire it for it to work for whatever reason.
OH! Also I think I can hear my valves chattering when I accelerate ..

What else can I check ?

Check codes. If in limp mode you have a code, your mil might either dead bulb OR fk'd up wiring OR dead ecm

Then your ecm or wiring is f'd. If you can connect to obd, and the mil comes on when cranking, I would suspect ecm. Post all readings at idle, like tps, rpm, map, etc... if you want to...

was the motor before the swap a VTEC motor or not. if I'm not mistaken ULEV did not have VTEC. So your wiring harness may not be telling VTEC to engage hence causing the engine to go into limp mode.at least that's just a thought.
