Maintenance Records.

Does anyone know if possible to go to the dealer where my car used to be serviced to get all the maintenance records of the car. I would like to get to know more about the history of my car and i know which dealer the car was serviced all its life do you think they can print me out a copy for a fee or for free don't really matter

They should have all the info in their databases stored by your VIN number, they probably will charge you like 5 or 10 bucks. But they should be able to print it out.

generally speaking its not free as mentioned above...^ I found with my other car, that they would not show me the records, because they had the previous owners' information on them...and i guess there is some privacy policy or something. Then again he could have just been being lazy.

i thought about the whole privacy thing and hope that isnt the case. i dont mind paying a few dollars.
