I believe 01-02 coupes were Milano Red, 98-00 were San Marino. As for color, it depends on the lighting. SM looks duller or brighter depending on the lighting. The photo below is in different lighting than the photo in my sig, but both are San Marino.

I don't know which red is more bold, but I think Larry's photos are somewhat...doctored. Both great reds though.
